Condtion Surveys
Maintaining the building condition and planing future maintenance to keep the property functuining is essential for all property owners and managing agents.
If you have an interest in a single property for owners/investors, property portfolios or occupiers with an interest in maintaining the property in accordance with their lease, would need a Condition Survey to be undertaken. SRC offer this service.
The Condition Survey is a detailed assessment of the property assets condition to plan future spending and investment. Our Condition Survey can be either a standalone assessment of the physical condition of the property, which is useful especially when a tenant moves out at the end of the lease, or as part of our other services.
Condition Survey Report content
The comprehensive Condition Report will vary depending on the size of the property (approx. 20-50 pages) with narrative and photographs. The Condition Report will include: all internal and external areas; elevations; roof aspect; floor plans; access and property details.
Condition Survey process
Upon confirmation of the appointment, the Surveyor will carry out a thorough inspection of the property, both internally and externally*. Photographs will be taken to be incorporated in the comprehensive Condition Report.
* Please note, the Surveyor will require access to all areas of the property
